1. We study a kernel function of the twisted symmetric square L-function of elliptic modular forms, and compute several exact special values of the L-function. We also succeed to determine some special values of the convolution product of two Eisenstein series of half-integral weight. 2. We give a characterization of degree 2 Hermitian cusp forms by the growth of their Fourier coefficients. 3. We give an explicit form of genus character L-functions. As an application, we generalize the formula due to Hirzebruch-Zagier on the class number of imaginary quadratic fields in term of the continued fraction expansion. 4. We give analytic properties of the Koecher-Maass series of non-holomorphic Siegel-Eisenstein series. It turned out that the series has a relation with Weyl group multiple Dirichlet series. 5. Katok-Sarnak type result for the Eisenstein series on higher dimensional hyperbolic space is established.

We study several Dirichlet series associated to modular forms of degree one or two. First, we discovered a new application of Koecher-Maass series of Siegel modular forms. Namely we got a new proof of recent result of Kohnen and Martin on a characterization of degree 2 Siegel cusp forms by the growth of their Fourier coefficients. Our main tools are Koecher-Maass series. Second, we gave some new construction of holomorphic kernel functions of modular L-functions. Using this, we can compute special L-values numericallyrather easily .

We determined a proportional constant which appeares in three dimensional analogue of the Katok-Sarnak type formula.
We studied p-adic Hermitian-Eisenstein series of low weight by using Hecke's convergent factor.
We expressed average values of Eisenstein series over CM points on n-dimensional hyperbolic space in terms of a Dirichlet series whose coefficients are the number of the solutions of quadratic congruences.
We gave a good definition of Koecher-Maass series for indefinite Fourier coefficients of real analytic Siegel-Eisenstein series of degree 2 and weight 2. We then proved a meromorphic continuation and a functional equation of the Koecher-Maass series.
